I think many people believe that a breeder who lets you visit their home to see how they raise puppies or meet the parent dogs is a trustworthy breeder. ⠀⠀⠀
I live in a small house with family. My daughter, who ⠀has severe anxiety and can’t go to school or meet new people. I’m also worried about puppies being stolen or strangers finding out where I live. ⠀⠀⠀
But I don’t think I’m a bad breeder 😅⠀⠀⠀
Some breeders have had experiences where puppies ⠀have died from diseases brought in from outside, ⠀or their homes have been broken into and puppies ⠀stolen 😭 That’s why they may decide not to invite people into their homes. So, we’d be happy if you could understand that not inviting people into our homes doesn’t mean we’re “untrustworthy breeders”😌⠀⠀⠀
I recommend contacting breeders in the same state ⠀as you first.⠀⠀⠀
If the breeder says they want to see you outside of the house, you can still meet and you’ll trust your instincts 😊⠀⠀⠀
