There are many ways to prevent jumping but the method depends on the dog. It is important to get advice from a trainer..Method of prevent jumping ⠀⠀⠀

😊 Ignore the behaviour, turn back, arm folded, no eye contact, no verbal response and step out of the way.

😊 Dog on leash, during training, obedience training with a focus on sit, stays with dog not moving until released. ⠀⠀⠀

😊 Teach command ” jump” → Allow to jump up only when commanded.⠀⠀⠀

😊 dog must sit to receive attention, go to bed and stay when visitors arrive, sit stay as people walk past.⠀⠀⠀

😊 Tether dog and move away, approach dog and when dog jumps, either stop or move back. Try again if dog sits, continue your approach. Repeat process until dog is sitting on its own without command. When you approach and you can touch / reward⠀⠀⠀

😊 Make experience unpleasant ⠀Key is to administer the correction while the dog is in the way up. If we correct after the dog has made contact, it will already have met its goal. ⠀⠀⠀
