I started training my puppies⠀
from 4weeks of age to⠀
prevent SA. ⠀

They cried in my house⠀
sometimes in a voice that⠀
could be heard for two blocks.
Sometimes it was so loud⠀
that I was so annoyed 😂😂⠀

I heard that separation anxiety⠀
in dogs is actually highly⠀
hereditary, and Sky had none⠀
of it since she was a puppy and⠀
would sleep when left alone in
any where without any training. ⠀

It takes a lot of time to fix⠀
separation anxiety. Dogs that⠀
are crate trained have a high
probability of not becoming SA. ⠀

If the breeder has already done⠀
this, you are the luckey one 🥳⠀
They should stop crying with in⠀
the first few days. ⠀

Crate training allows⠀
the dog to stay anywhere and⠀
reduces the dog’s stress if,
for example, there is a disaster
or if he is hospitalised.⠀

If your dog have already⠀
Separation Anxiety.
There are 2 options.
Spend time and money⠀
for training or rehome it⠀

I aim to never let a dog with⠀
Separation Anxiety out of my⠀
litter born at my place. ⠀

That’s why each puppy is in⠀
a separate place and on its own.⠀
One puppy is outside. One is in the
children’s room. One in the living
room. One is in the crate.⠀
And they are rotated. ⠀
This is not easy but I believe⠀
that this steady effort helps⠀
the puppies and their owners.⠀

Who you get your dog from⠀
will affect you next 15 years.⠀

I had a dog from a backyard⠀
breeder a long time ago and⠀
suffered a lot, but most of
Cobberdog’s breeders are very
experienced and caring about dogs
and people. Very supportive too.

If you are looking for a puppy, ⠀
contact breeders in your state⠀
first 😉⠀
