My 10 weeks old puppies.
They still jump. But, when I scold them by saying “No” “Off”
it is actually a reward for the
puppy because they have
achieved their goal of getting
my attention by jumping.

So the dog may continue to
jump and wait to be scolded.

Timing and context are very
important when it comes to
scolding and rewarding a dog.

To avoid using scolding as a
reward, do not look the dog
when it jumps and ignore it at all.
First, turn around and ignore him.

When he is about to jump,
command him to “sit”, and
continue to reward him
while he sits. Touch him, talk
to him, give him treats, etc.

This teaches him that sitting
is good for him and jumping is
Not fun at all.

It takes time, especially for
puppies, to stop jumping.

My puppies don’t stop jumping, especially in the morning when I
opened the crate.😂

Well, we just have to be patient.
