Crate training is done differently
depending on the dog’s age⠀
and situation, but the main thing⠀
for all dogs is to teach them that⠀
the crate is a fun place to be. ⠀

For example, they can be fed in⠀
the crate, given treats when⠀
they go in the crate, and given⠀
lots of playtime when they are⠀
quiet. So never put your dog in⠀
the crate as a punishment for⠀
doing something wrong.⠀

At Cedar Lillie, we try to get them used to
their crate from the third week. We aim to
continue the⠀training and have it completed
by week 8. ♥️⠀
